The team of experienced GPs and allied health carers are able to assist your with your health care needs from the comfort and privacy of your home. They take a detailed history, review digital images of your skin or injury and provide advice, prescriptions, referrals and arrange follow up to ensure a speedy and safe recovery.

(Please note that the doctors are unable to prescribe drugs of addictions, sedatives or restricted medications)

FEES & Instructions

THE GOVERNMENT HAS INTRODUCED MEDICARE FUNDING FOR VIDEO AND PHONE BASED CONSULTS DURING THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK.

Medicare funding is available to you if-

You have visited our clinic and had a face to face consultation with any one of our doctors in the last 12 months for any reason

2. You have been directed to isolate by the health department

3. You are homeless, under 12 months of age

FEES apply and need to be paid on the day – Please contact the clinic for our current standard consultation fees.

Waverley GP will continue to be available for patients needing a physical examination at our clinic. We encourage all patients to book a tel-consultation first if you are unwell or have a fever. Your doctor can then arrange a safe assessment at the clinic if needed. Book a face to face consult if you havent seen them in 12 months – future consults can be completed via telehealth.

PREPARE FOR YOUR CONSULTATION

Have a phone ready and free to be called for a phone consult.
Have a computer or mobile phone with a web/selfie camera if you need a video consult.
We will forward to you simple instructions to connect with your doctor if a video consult is needed.
At the time of your appointment , you will be called by your doctor, if needed you may be instructed to log in for a video consult.
Your doctor may be delayed due to emergencies and urgent problems, delays are inevitable and WGP appreciates your patience during the Corona virus outbreak.
