Having problems with the use of prescription or over-the-counter medications?

The Medication Support and Recovery Service (MSRS) is a free and confidential service for anyone who is having problems with their use of prescription or over-the-counter medications.

The MSRS is based in community health services across the East and North-East suburbs of Melbourne and  is fully funded by the Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network, so all services are provided at no cost to you.

The MSRS has specialist counsellors, nurses and peer support workers (people who have a personal experience of medication problems) who can help you to cut down, quit or make changes in your medication use. They also connect with doctors, mental health services, physiotherapists and other health services to support your overall health and well-being.

To make an appointment, you can call them  on 1800 931 101 and speak to the MSRS intake worker.
