June 2017 is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

Bowel Cancer is the second most common cancer in both men and women in Australia, and if detected early it is also one of the most treatable types of cancer.

Screening for bowel cancer can save lives.

National Bowel Cancer Screening Program

The National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (NBCSP) invites eligible people aged 50 - 74 to screen for bowel cancer using a free, simple test at home.

People who meet the criteria are automatically registered for the Program. Screening kits are sent to the address recorded by Medicare.
